Six weeks ago today Isabelle was transported to Charlottesville, VA. She took the 2 hour 15 minute ride from Winchester in the ambulance below (NETS 1). 
When she arrived Isabelle was around 900 grams. Last night she was 1900 grams (4lbs 30zs). She is gaining everyday. The more she gains the more milk they give her. Today she had 10mls and had very little left in her belly. The night nurse will increase her amount around 11pm. She should get about 12mls tonight and then keep advancing every 12 hours. Isabelle could be at full feedings on Sunday.
Respiratory wise--Isabelle did the same thing as yesterday, 6 hours nasal cannula and 3 CPAP. The doctors said they would see how well she did on the nasal cannula today and then make a decision as to if she can be on it all day. Her little head is getting molded from the CPAP hat. She hates when they put it back on her.
We have been discussing going back to Winchester with the doctors. Isabelle needs to be doing a few things before we can go to Winchester. She should be at full feeds and off of her TPN and Lipids. As her mls increase her TPN and lipids decrease. She is on the right track. I am ok with her not going home yet, but it would be nice to get back to Winchester. I know that Isabelle is where she is today because of prayer.
Another day of growing and a step closer to going home.

Glad to hear she is doing so well! It's amazing what a little (or a lot!) prayer can do.
Each day she is gaining weight and each day Isabel is closer to coming home. Amy & Dave this journey is not easy, but you will see God's hand move in your life. We love you all and remeber you are never alone.
